Donate your new and used books, CDs, and other materials for the Friends of the Houston Public Library's Annual Bargain Book Sale. Proceeds from this sale benefit the Houston Public Library.
Book donations are accepted at all library locations. Large donations (more than 1 box or 2 bags) may be dropped off at the Friends warehouse. Call the Friends at 832-393-1387 for details.
When the Library buys books and materials, we receive volume discounts from our vendors and everything comes to us cataloged and ready to put on the shelves. This saves us both money and staff time. Because of this, the most economical way to help the Library put more books on the shelves is to donate your new and used books to the Friends for sale, or by making a monetary donation to the Library.
