- Participants can be teens of all ages in grade levels 6 through 12.
- For most categories, prizes will be awarded for the best in each category:
- Best Animation ($250)
- Best Documentary ($250)
- Best Feature or Narrative ($250)
- Best Broadcast ($100)
- Best Commercial/PSA or Book/Movie Trailer ($100)
- Best Music Video ($100)
- People’s Choice ($50)
- The new "Teen Health" category is sponsored by the Houston Department of Health and Human Services.
- Teen Health submissions should provide a strong message related to mental and/or physical teen health.
- For this category, prizes will be awarded for 1st ($200), 2nd ($125) and 3rd ($75) place videos.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: To be eligible for screening at the Festival, submissions must be in by March 17, 2012
