What We're Reading
Rex Mundi, Volume 1: The Guardian of the Temple
by Arvid Nelsen
This graphic novel presents the adventures of Dr. Julien Sauniére as he investigates a series of murders on his quest to find the Holy Grail.

Reviewer: Darcy Casavant
One of my new favorite series. It out Da Vinci Code's The Da Vinci Code (even though it predates it). The magic is an unnecessary afterthought. Recommended.

What You're Reading
The Help
by Kathryn Stockett
Avg. Rating:

In Jackson, Mississippi, in 1962, there are lines that are not crossed. With the civil rights movement exploding all around them, three women start a movement of their own, forever changing a town and the way women--black and white, mothers and daughters--view one another.

BEST BOOK I'VE READ IN AGES!
This book is outstanding. Stockett is a natural born storyteller and the story itself is riveting. Protagonists Skeeter, Minnie, and Aibileen are women you won't be able to forget, women you'll root for, laugh and cry with, and women whose stories you won't want to end. Very highly recommended.
