Hurricane season is here. Now is the time to get prepared. We hope we don’t get hit by another hurricane this year. But just in case, we all should be ready now to make sure our families are as safe and secure as possible. One way to be prepared is to have a complete stock of supplies. Here is The Ultimate Hurricane Checklist published by the Houston Chronicle:
- Nonperishable food to last at least two weeks
- Water(one gallon per day for each member of your house hold)
- Paper cups, plates, and plastic utensils
- Manual can opener
- Aluminum foil
- Coolers
- Battery-operated radio
- Batteries
- Bleach
- Soap and toiletries
- Prescription medication
- First-aid kit
- Frozen gel packs
- Toilet paper
- Disinfectant
- Duct tape
- Plastic bucket with tight lid
