Harriet Dickson Reynolds 2006 Science Alliance
Libraries can be the best partner a parent has in teaching children the skills of being a life-long learner.
On October 6, 2006, the Houston Public Library invites Houston area, Harris County, and other librarians who work with children to partake in a special event. This year's theme is Science Alliance. Librarians will focus on teaching basic science skills and the fundamentals of life-long learning. The Harriet Dickson Reynolds Workshop is by invitation only to professional librarians.
