Describe your dream library of tomorrow

Prizes:

Winners will be announced on April 30, 2006.

• First place will receive an Apple Video iPOD
• Second place will receive an Apple iPOD Shuffle
• Third place will receive a $50.00 gift certificate
• 10 Honorable Mention winners will receive a book gift certificate

How you enter:

• Participants must be ages 11 to 18.
• All work submitted must be the original work of the participant.
• Essays must be no longer than 500 words or one page.
• Entries may be typed (double spaced) or hand written.
• Each essay will be judged on creativity and originality.
• This contest is also open to children of city and library employees.

Essays may be submitted:

• The deadline for submission is Friday, March 17, 2006.
• Essays may be submitted by mail, email, or dropped off at any Houston Public Library Location.
