The Clayton Library Center for Genealogical Research is partnering with Houston area embroiderers, quilters and fiber artists to present a fiberwork exhibit entitled “The Threads of Families.” This exhibit is scheduled to debut on May 1st, 2008 for a month-long run in the main building of the Clayton Library Center. No reservations needed. Exhibit open during regular library hours, May 1-31, 2008.

Short Story Contest

Entries are being accepted for a short story contest at the Frank Neighborhood Library (May 12-16, 2008). Entries should not be more than 500 words and should be illustrated. A prize will be given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. All entries will be displayed at the library. The last date for submission is May 16. Winners will be announced on the 19th of May. Ages: children.

Come by every Monday-Thursday after school with friends and play on our Nintendo Wii's or Play Station 2. On certain days we have programs to watch, craft's to do or movies to watch with snacks but gaming is every time!!! We also have books or comics to read. Laptops with Internet access are also available for use!!!
